Coleton Footacher 2020
Saturday 11th July 2020, 6:30pm start
The Coleton Footacher was founded in 2016, and takes place along the coast path from the beautiful Coleton Fishacre.
The 6.3 mile stunning but brutal course takes runners from outside the National Trust house at Coleton Fishacre straight up the driveway for a serious climb to start. From here you will change onto trails for a steady decent towards the coast path (enjoy this piece of easy running, it doesn't last long!. Once on the coast path you will be rewarded during various climbs and falls by stunning sea and coastal views before dropping down to the WW2 Gun Batteries at Froward Point. A long climb up away from the coast where you will be tempted to stop and look at the views behind is followed by a drop back down through the fields that brings you to the final stretch up through the gardens of one of the top five National Trust gardens in the UK (you can always appreciate on your cool down!). Certainly a beautiful one for your spectators even if it kills you!
The run is fully marshalled, and the course is marked to national standards. Toilets are provided.
1st aid coverage will be in attendance and the clubs best bakers will be providing an epic cake stall.
Kids fun run (1 mile). Start 6.45pm (during the adult race) £3 entry on night.
