Results - week ending 17th February 2019
Tuesday was the last of SDAC’s Winter 3k series which also counts towards the 2019 Road Club Championship. Twenty nine runners took part and the clear and calm conditions were ideal with six runners recording PB’s. Runners achieving a PB were Alex Magee, Steve Wright, Nick Oxley, Emma Magee, Serena Jury and Claire Cornish – full results on SDAC website.
Sunday saw Beat the Train which is a 6.8 mile route along riverside paths and woodland trails from Totnes to Staverton and back with the added twist of racing a steam train. Four South Devon AC members took on the challenge with Stuart Batten beating the train back to the station by 2 minutes.
