Results - week ending 19th May 2019

It was a busy weekend of running for South Devon AC athletes starting with the Run Exe relays on Friday evening. South Devon fielded six teams for the relays with the best results for the senior ladies and male vet 50 teams who both placed 5th in their category.

Saturday was parkrun day with new PBs for Dani Waters, Lauren Carr and Alison Ford. Sunday was the next race in the Grand Prix series which was the Clyst Hydon Huff 10k. It’s a lovely scenic and hilly route with a great friendly atmosphere and cake! There was a good turnout from South Devon AC with prizes won by juniors and seniors. Michelle Cowley was second lady back, Colin Peters won the MV50 prize and in the 2K race Lauren and Hannah Carr took 1st and 3rd female places.

South Devon runners were also in action in Plymouth at the Ocean City half marathon, Alex Magee ran the Exeter marathon and Vince Langdon completed the Nottingham Half Ironman.
