Results - week ending 16th June 2019
South Devon AC held their annual Beaches race on Tuesday which starts at South Sands Goodrington with the turnaround at the end of Preston Beach. It’s an internal club race this year doubling as the club off road championships and guest runners are also welcome.
Conditions were generally good but with a strong headwind along Paignton beach combined with running on sand makes it a tough race.
In the mens race it was a win again for Dave Hampton with Alex Magee only a minute behind.
In the Ladies Michelle Cowley continues to get back to form taking first lady and fourth overall with Dani Waters second lady.

Not having had enough of sand, four club members ran the Dawlish Dash on Thursday. Plenty of soft sand in the first section and then a fast finish along the promenade.
Saturday was parkrun day and good to see that even on holiday club members are getting out for a run and enjoying some great locations parkrun offers in this country.
