Results - week ending 25th August 2019

Friday evening was the Torbay Road Relays at the Velopark and hosted by Torbay Athletic Club. South Devon AC fielded six teams on a lovely evening and a great time was had by all with some great running and epic sprint finishes! The best results were for the MV50 and the FV40 teams placing 2nd and 3rd respectively in their categories.

Bank Holiday weekends also means Plym Trail marathons run by First and Last Running – Steve Hookins running both days and Jeremy Goddard running on Saturday. Both days were very warm so great running by Steve to complete the back to back marathons.

Jamie Dent continued his return to running at the Trust 10K at Coleton finishing in 58:11.

As well as Junior parkrun a number of SDAC juniors enjoying Carfest South ran the 2.5km fun run. Finally well done to Lauren Carr for a new PB at parkrun on Saturday.
