Results - week ending 20th October 2019

Three South Devon AC juniors, Lauren Carr, Hannah Carr and Evie Rowe competed in their first adult race on Saturday at the Wild Night Runs 5k night trail race at Haldon Forrest. Lauren was 9th overall, 4th female and 1st in her age category (12-17). Evie was 21st, 11th female and 3rd in her age category and Hannah 25th, 14th female and 4th in her age category. The girls were also part of a nine strong squad that saw the return of SDAC to the Devon Sports Hall league on Sunday. Some great performances and lots of fun had – congratulations to Millie, Daisy, Melissa, Lana, Lizzie, Lauren, Hannah, Evie and Ava.

In the absence of other races SDAC seniors made full use of the great organisation that is parkrun enjoying our local parkrun and further afield. Steve and Heather enjoying the woods and the mud at Killerton, Stuart and Michelle ran at Swansea Bay and Roger enjoyed a muddy run at Royal Tunbridge Wells parkrun.
