Some exciting races for the 1st 6 months….

Let get started with the Wild Cards……

Wild Card # 1 – Sun 9th February - Ocean Brave 10km

Starting on Exmouth’s beautiful seafront the race covers mixed terrain; tarmac, coastal paths and sand (and maybe the sea if the tide beats you!)

It’s £18.50 to enter – however we have been given a 10% discount by the organisers

BUT EVEN BETTER!!! – They have a “Duo Series” with another race in July which makes it £15 each when entering both!

So…. Wild Card # 3 is Sun 5th July – Ocean Balmy 10km

Bespoke medal for all race finishers, interlocking for the Duo

Wild Card # 2 – Sat 20th June - Burrator Horseshoe Run

A scenic, challenging moorland run, starting and finishing at Meavy Village Green. It is a part of the Meavy Oak Fair, a traditional village green fair held annually

This is a 6+ mile moorland run from Meavy and out over Dartmoor, via Burrator Reservoir, Sheepstor Dam, Sheepstor Summit (369m), Guttor Tor Summit (357m), Ringmoor Down and the cooling Meavy River Ford

And it’s only £10 (based on this year’s entry fee)

January

Sun 12th – Oh My Obelisk! - 9 Miles – Already confirmed and announced

February

Sun 23rd – Dalwood 3 Hills - 10 Miles – £10

c.10 Miles of Multi-Terrain around the beautiful challenging hills of Dalwood, between Axminster & Honiton

March

Sun 22nd - Granite Way – 10 Miles - £19

The Granite Way run takes you along the Granite Way cycle path through Devon with fantastic views of Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside

April

Sun 5th – Taunton Half Marathon – details to be confirmed

A one lap course through the streets of Taunton, starting and finishing at the Somerset College of Arts and Technology

May

Sat 23rd – Bere Penn 10km - details to be confirmed

A scenic 3 down, 3 up road run around the Bere Peninsular which passes along the beautiful River Tamar

June

Date TBC – Dawlish Coastal Dash

c.4 miles of beach & coast path - a lovely summer race with a slate coaster to all finishers
