Results - week ending 3rd November 2019
A wet and wild week of running for South Devon AC! Several spooky characters were spotted on the Thursday club run and a couple of skeletons ( Dave Cubberley and Liz Lee ) were seen at the Jolly running Halloween race in Cockington. Kate Maslin kept the Halloween spirit going at the “Run with Los Muertos” while on holiday. The fun continued on Sunday at the Templer Ten where despite the conditions and a shorter course there was some great running. Alex and Michelle were first back for the club and another strong result for the ladies team, well done all!
On a wild and wet Saturday night, Hannah and Lauren Carr ran in the second Wild Night Runs race of the series at Burrator reservoir. Lauren was 3rd overall and second female in 23:31 and Hannah was 7th overall and 1st 12-17 female in 29:12.
At the Sibelco Templer Ten four South Devon juniors took part in the muddy mile trail run held on the Stover estate - all four had great finishes and filled the first 4 female places. Lauren Carr was 3rd overall in 6:14 and 1st female, Daisy Mckenna 6th in 6:37 & 2nd female, Evie Rowe, 10th 6:49, 3rd female and Hannah Carr 11th and 4th female in 6:51. Great running.
