Results - w/e 1 January 2023

New year’s eve 2022 saw hundreds of runners descend at Dartington estate to compete in the ‘final countdown’, superbly hosted by Winding Paths (www.windingpaths.uk), the 10K route offers runners a tempting mixture of riverside paths, woodlands, hills, fields and especially for this year, lots and lots of rain, mud and puddles!

Despite the challenging conditions several members of South Devon Athletic Club reported for duty and battled admirably against very wet, muddy and slippy conditions and all can be very proud of their efforts. Claire Cornish was first back for the SDAC ladies in 66th position overall with a great time of 1 hour, 2 minutes and 48 seconds with Stuart Batten home in 8th position with a fantastic time of 47 minutes 29 seconds for the men’s. Well done to all and for all club runners for competing in events throughout 2022.
