Results - w/e 13th November 2022

A contingent of South Devon Athletic Club runners swapped Torbay for Alton Towers at the weekend with the theme park hosting a 5K and half marathon distance event. The race takes place within the park resort with runners passing iconic rides such as Oblivion, the Smiler and Nemesis. Best of all runners then get to spend the rest of the day on the rides.

Colin Peters came 1st in his age category with a fabulous time of 1 hour 37 minutes and 8 seconds whilst Stuart Batten grabbed himself a PB in a very swift time of 1 hour 31 minutes and 36 seconds. Great work guys and girls although I imagine the rides were more fun than the running!
