A magnificent sunny morning in East Devon saw the Ottery 10k mark the fifth instalment of this year’s South Devon Athletic Club Grand Prix series.
The race starts and finishes at Ottery St Mary Cricket Club and is a flat run on and around the surrounding country lanes. Thanks must go to all the marshals, volunteers and everyone else involved with putting on such a great event.
Whilst there were great times all-round by our runners. there were some particular standout results for SDAC with Dani Waters achieving 2nd in her age category F35, James Nash with a 10K PB and Stuart Batten continuing his recent run of superb race times, rolling in at just under 41 minutes. All our runners enjoyed the morning and weather and look forward to the June Grand Prix events, the Summer Solstice Fell Race on Wednesday 22nd June and the Torbay 10K, Sunday 27th June.
