Lots of South Devon AC runners both seniors and juniors in action this weekend. Sunday was the rescheduled Ocean Brave 10K race and although the rain and hail kept off there was plenty of mud and sand with a strong headwind. SDAC ladies shining again with Michelle Cowley and Dani Waters taking 2nd and 3rd Ladies.
Kevin and Laura Ashworth opted for the warmer climate and sunsets of Benidorm for the half marathon and 10K, Laura had a great run and was 4th in her age group.
Dave Cubberley avoided mud altogether and ran the Firefighters charity 10K in Plymouth.
The Stover XC was as expected rather muddy and there was some great efforts and performances from a strong junior squad of Rowan, Oscar, Daisy, Abigail, Harry, Lauren, Hannah & Evie. Roger Webb was the only senior flying the flag for SDAC at Stover XC.
There was also a good turnout for the club 3K on Tuesday despite the weather. Full results are on the website but a special mention for one of the juniors running Theo Glew who ran a great race and was third overall!
